I can not beleive what I have done today. For a long time now I have felt that I can not concerntrate on more than one thing.
Today Myself and 2 children went to Barclays bank as said children were going to open a savings account each. Whole
proceedure took 1 hour end result only one account opened, for various reasons which I will not go into.
Left bank and by the time we had got home I had managed to loose £320.00 of my childrens money. For an hour me children and hubby ran around
trying to find money.
It has definately gone and I can onluy blame myself. I have spent most of the week a bit teary so today just aBOUT TOOK THE BISCUIT.
My children felt so sorry for me that they keept giving me a hug and telling me it was only money. That made me feel worse.
Love Melanie

Oh Melanie, I'm so sorry this happened to you .
Have you checked if you dropped it in the bank?
On the other hand, you have two lovely thoughtful children!

Love and hugs, Doreen xx

Oh no! But wasn't the money supposed to be deposited in the bank if you were opening accounts?

Children are so sweet.. and forgiving.

Mel, how unfortunate was that? I do hope the money 'turns up'. I know it sounds totally silly and I'm sure you've already considered it but you haven't paid it into the bank have you? I only ask because I've done that before now!!

Hope it turns up,

Lyn x

Oh, what a shame, you must have been devastated. I hope that the money turns up, you never know.

Dear Mel,
so sorry what a nuisance, i agree with christine this sounds typical RA behaviour - hands, head full of all those other responsibilities etc
I could definitely see it happening to me, but worse of all worrying about it can make u more poorly.
Did u manage to check with the bank? Also, I was just wondering, would it be possible to claim off house insurance... im not really sure but maybe worth checking policy as may cover out of house too?
Take care, hope it appears again and soon, i sometimes find things i thought i would never see again in inner handbag pockets and even coat pockets i didnt even realise were there & i have left my card at checkouts on several occassions etc etc so do not beat yourself up about this xx
Take care, love and hugs ~ Liz xxx

Thanks for all of your knid comments. No it has not been found,
and yes it should have been in their new b ank accounts but my ID passport was out of date so they refused to accept it as Id and could not open the accounts!!
The funny thing is they would accept a letter from the tax credits people, I do not know how that would proove who I was!!
Love Melanie
